Entrepreneurship is not an easy journey, it comes with a lot of challenges and obstacles. Many people give up along the way, but there are those who persevere and become successful. One such entrepreneur is Sandeepa B Virk, who started her journey in the entertainment industry. She is now a successful businesswoman, actress, and model.

My entrepreneur journey

Born and brought up in Delhi, I knew that I wanted to be an actor and model. I did many ramp shows, print ads, music videos, and even some commercials. But, after a while, I realized that I didn’t want to do that for the rest of my life. I wanted to be my own boss and have more control over my career. So, I started my own skincare brand HyBoo – IT’S ALL ABOUT LOVE.

My belief

As I believe health is wealth. Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. To me, true wealth means having good health and feeling good about myself inside and out.

My transition

It's been 10 long years since I've worked in the industry and things were going great. I had just finished filming 3 movies as the lead actor when covid hit. Needless to say, the film industry came to a screeching halt and I was left without any work.

I started to think about what else I could do with my life and that's when I decided to become an entrepreneur. It wasn't an easy decision, but it was one that I'm glad I made. The journey hasn't been easy, but it's been worth it.

I'm now my own boss and I get to call the shots. It's a lot of hard work, but it's also incredibly rewarding. I'm grateful for the opportunity to pursue my dreams and build something special.

My desire to serve

There was the desire inside me to serve, to do something back to the society. I am happy to help people by guiding them towards a better, healthy and beautiful life. I have started my own venture wherein I would be providing tips related to fitness, lifestyle and beauty. I shall also be sharing my knowledge about acting and how one can make it big in this industry. My journey has just begun and I am extremely excited about it.

My brand Hyboo

Being an actor I always taking good care of my skin and health. I read alot about topics related to skincare, different ingredients and their benefits and discovered that there are a lot of harmful chemicals in many skincare products. I decided to start my own natural, organic, chemical free skincare line, which is now a successful brand called Hyboo.

I completed my cosmetology course from Vancouver Canada and UAE. It took me a year to complete my study and course. After completing my course, I planned to launch my own skincare brand which can be specially formulated for an Indian skin. I believe that this will be a successful venture because there is a growing demand for skincare products that are specifically tailored for Indian skin. Additionally, I have the necessary skills and knowledge to create high-quality products that will meet the needs of Indian consumers.
